Not a Medical Provider

DoctorNoted is not a medical provider. We do not have a doctor-patient relationship with users. We do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or determine medical necessity. All clinical decisions remain with your own licensed physician.

Documentation Service Only

DoctorNoted is a documentation platform. We help you prepare a Letter of Medical Necessity packet — including a clinical summary and draft letter — for review and signature by your own primary care physician. We do not modify, certify, or override your physician's clinical judgment.

Your Physician's Authority

Your physician retains full and unrestricted clinical authority. They may edit any draft we prepare, decline to sign, or recommend a different course of action. We encourage you to discuss your condition and treatment plan openly with your physician.

No Guarantee of Reimbursement

DoctorNoted does not guarantee that your FSA/HSA administrator will approve reimbursement. Approval depends on your administrator's independent review of your Letter of Medical Necessity, receipts, and your specific plan terms. We design our packets to maximize the likelihood of approval but cannot guarantee outcomes.

Not Tax Advice

Information about FSA/HSA eligibility, IRS Publication 502, or tax implications is for general educational purposes only. We are not tax advisors. Consult a qualified tax professional regarding your specific tax situation.

Not Legal Advice

Information about IRS rules, compliance, or legal matters is for general educational purposes only. Consult a qualified attorney for advice specific to your situation.

Emergency Medical Issues

If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately. Do not use DoctorNoted for emergency medical issues.

Honest Documentation

Users are responsible for providing accurate, truthful information about their diagnosed conditions and treatments. Misrepresenting medical information to obtain reimbursement may constitute fraud and is grounds for termination of service plus potential legal consequences.
